Frequently asked questions
Why is average fuel economy not shown yet?
MotorMemoir needs at least two full-tank odometer readings. Partial fills between those readings are included in the interval's fuel total.
Do maintenance reminders send notifications?
No notification service is implemented. MotorMemoir marks a reminder Due, Soon or Later inside the app based on its date or odometer target.
How do I export or restore my records?
CSV exports the selected vehicle's fuel and cost records. Versioned JSON is the complete backup; paste it into Import JSON and confirm before replacing current local data.
Where is my MotorMemoir data stored?
Your app content is stored in local app storage on your device. MotorMemoir has no account or cloud-sync service. Depending on your settings, local data may be included in an operating-system or cloud backup.
Can I turn analytics and crash reports off?
Yes. Open the Privacy control inside MotorMemoir and change your choice at any time. Analytics and crash reporting are off by default and start only after you enable them.
Does MotorMemoir show ads or require an account?
No. The current version has no advertising SDK, login, account system, subscription, or in-app purchase.
The app closed unexpectedly. What should I send?
Tell us your device model, operating-system version, app version, language, and the steps immediately before the issue. A screenshot can help, but hide anything you do not want to share.
